QUIP ToothBrushes: Brutally Honest Review!

Quip Toothbrush: Brutally honest review
In this Quip toothbrush review, you will find an in-depth analysis of whether or not this is a good buy. In our opinion, the BEST electric toothbrush on the market right now is the BURST toothbrush. Read our complete review of it HERE.
What is a quip toothbrush?
Quip toothbrush uses SONIC technology. It uses a 2-minute timer with pauses every 30 seconds intervals to let you know to move to the next quadrant of your mouth, which will make sure you have good teeth brushing habits!!
Quip offers two toothbrush sizes (one for adults and one for kids). Both of them have a really soft-bristled brush. Quip also has a subscription service that allows you to get a new brush head, toothpaste, and battery refills delivered at your doorsteps every three months. This means you never have to worry about going to the store, etc.
The toothbrush has been approved by the ADA (The American Dental Association)! and is supposed to great for oral health or dental hygeine.
You have two choices when it comes to the toothbrush material: plastic or metal. With each type, there are various color options and there are even special edition colors sometimes (it always changes). This brush is powered by 1 AAA battery. We feel this is not as good as the Oral-B or the Philips Sonicare.
Should you go with metal or plastic? It all comes down to personal preference but if you want a higher quality look and feel, then you should go with the metal one. It will be a bit heavier and it will feel higher quality than the plastic one. You can also subscribe for the refill plan.
If you have kids, Quip offers toothbrushes for kids now for a great oral health. This American dental association battery powered brush is not that great when compared to the oral-b electric toothbrushes. We feel the QUIP is somewhat similar to a manual brush.
One thing you will notice with the toothbrush is it is quite small compared with other brands out there. The vibrations the toothbrush offers is at 15,000 strokes per minute, which is lower than what the competition offers, usually around 30,000. The toothbrush is basically less powerful than the other ones and this is actually one of their selling points. They offer a gentle toothbrush! If you want a more powerful toothbrush, we highly recommend the BURST toothbrush, which is the best one on the market right now.
What is the price?
Both the adult’s and the kid’s toothbrushes are about $25 if you take the subscription. If you decide to go with a special edition of one of the metal ones, then you will have to pay a little bit more. The price will go higher if you decide to add accessories like floss, travel toothpaste, etc.
If you take the subscription, everything will be cheaper than if you go with a one-time purchase order. You can also replace the toothbrush head every 3 months.
This toothbrush by QUIP is less expensive than most other brushes on the market. It is powered by 1 AAA battery.
What we like about Quip
Here are a few things we really love about Quip:
-The subscription options: It is nice getting the replacement brush heads by mail every three months. The brush head makes sure your toothbrush always works well and you don’t have to go to the store to buy brush heads.
-It is travel-friendly: The toothbrush is small and makes it the perfect toothbrush for travel.
-Sleek design: Quip created a really nice design for this toothbrush.
-Gentle power setting. If you want a gentle toothbrush, then there you go! This is their only power setting.
-Two-minute timer with 30-second pulses: This two-minute will make sure you brush your teeth correctly. Dentists recommend you brush your teeth for 2 minutes at a time.
-Cross-compatible brush head between the adult brush and the kid’s brush.
What we Don’t Like About quip
-The tongue scraping. There is a tongue cleaner on the back of the head of the brush, but we prefer to use a high-quality metal tongue scraper.
-Not rechargeable. The toothbrush is battery operated, which means you cannot charge it and you will have to buy batteries once in a while. This battery powered brush is not that great when compared to the oral-b electric toothbrushes.
-The fluoride toothpaste. We just don’t like it…There are better options out there for high-quality toothpaste. We prefer nanohydroxyapatite toothpaste and BOKA toothpaste.
Should I buy one?
You can visit their website to see more features, but in the end, the Quip electric toothbrush is for those who don’t want to pay a lot of money and want an electric toothbrush. The quip brush is not better than the Oral-b electric toothbrushes.
In our opinion, there are better options out there when it comes to toothbrush. The BURST toothbrush is the best on the market right now. Read our in depth review here to find out why.
